Ski Santa Fe

A couple of week ago, Alex and I headed up to Santa Fe for a weekend of relaxing + skiing.

It was a much needed escape.

We snapped this photo of ourselves while we were sitting outside the Lodge. Its an IPhone pic, and well, the quality isn't superb, but the memory is good!

I couldn't sleep last night and wanted to not just lay awake, so I headed up to my studio for some late night scrapping.  For the sketch template, I pulled out one of Simple Scrappers templates from Simple Scrappers Premium membership.

See that chevron paper? Be still my heart. I picked some of it up the other day, and I love every.single.thing.about.it. It just makes my heart oh, so happy!

Blizzard of 2013

Hey there! It's a snow day here at my house! We have gotten over 17 inches of snow in 15 hours. With 65+ mph of wind.

Yeah, its really not as peaceful as the photo looks. It's down right cold! Luckily for me, all the roads are shut down so Alex got to spend the day at home. He's never gotten a real 'snow day' from work, so its been nice.

I haven't been around the blog in the last two weeks. We have had the yucky, horrible flu. And then a staph infection. Fun times at my house. Don't be jealous!

The good news is that since I have been home all day, I have gotten my blog all scheduled out and ready to go.  I have some great layouts coming up to share + as well a few giveaways, so stay tuned.

Do you get crazy cold weather where you live? I would love to hear about it!
