Have you ever found yourself needing a quick card for a friend? I found myself in that position earlier today and decided to try out a new die I had: Mama Elephant Hello.

Let me walk you through the oh-so-simple (and quick) way to create this card.

I started with a simple card base, and then die cut two 'hello' phrases from card stock (yellow and navy). I layered the yellow on top of the blue, and then used spray adhesive to attach them.

Next, I trimmed three strips of leftover Bluegrass Farm card kit paper. I tacked them down to a scrap of yellow card stock, then ran them through my sewing machine.

Add three buttons that have been laced with twine, and ta-da. You are done.

Hope your Monday is great! Summer is officially started here, and we are loving it already! Lots of time has been spent outside and movies are being watched. Daily bike rides and grilling. Good times this past weekend.

How was your weekend? Did you create anything special? Tell me about it in the comment section!
