Happy Thursday, friends! This week is just rolling on by -  and its been a good one! Its been hotter than heck so that has meant lots of time in the studio this week.

Todays layout does not actually feature my boys - but it is a masculine page about my husband's and my favorite place in the world: St. Thomas, USVI. We went back to St. Thomas last year and that solidified it as our magical place.

The weather. The beach. The sunsets. It's perfect. I snapped this photo on our way back from dinner one evening. It was shot with my iPhone and I was pleasantly surprised at its quality (though Im not sure there is a perfect way to capture how amazing this sunset was!).

For this page I used Felicity Jane papers - thought I grabbed them from several of her kits. The background dot paper, multi colored stripe paper and navy dot paper is from the Savannah kit (again, its my favorite kit!). The yellow dot paper is from the Susie kit. The tags and flowers have been cut out from the digital files she sends when you buy your kit.

Todays tip: don't be afraid to mix and match papers from different collections! Nothing says you must only use the papers that come in one months kit. Felicity Jane kits flow fabulously month to month, coordinating and complimenting each other. Mix them up!

Thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate you!

  1. I'm loving the color scheme. That photo looks fantastic against the background paper. Such a pretty layout.

  2. Lovely elegant layout, fab design.
