November 3

I am so grateful for my my oldest son, Ben.

I was barely 19 when he was born and wow! The day he was born my world changed for the better.

He is quiet and content doing his own thing. He has a talent to take things apart, and then put them back together in working order.

Ben actually reminds me a bunch of myself. He is laid back and doesn't get in any hurry for any one. Ben is loyal to the end. He is a hard worker - I cant tell you the times he has come home from school  and went straight to worked in the garage with Alex. He has a love for old, vintage cars.

Ben is a runner - gosh, somedays he will run 8 miles before the rest of the world is up and going. have enjoyed watching him push himself to go further, faster. He has been committed to get better and he has.

Being Ben's momma has been the best gift. When he was born, I was still in college and many nights, we would be curled up on the couch, him wrapped in a  blanket while I would read from whatever homework I had due soon.

I am so blessed to have him as my first child. Watching him growing into a respectable young man is amazing. Ben hears his own drummer - and I am anxious to see where life takes him !
