Today I am thankful for my 'other kids', aka my dogs.
Annie is a mini-dauschund that is an absolute princess. She is cuddley and loves to crawl in your lap. We aren't totally convinced that she realizes she is a dog vs. a human!
Scout is a (we assume!) a Jack Russell and a Mama's boy. Jack Russells are normally hyper and all over the place with their personality but not Scout. He is calm and laid back - until you say the word 'cookie' and then he is all up in your face!
The dogs are part of our family. During a time in my life that I was knee deep in depression, these babies were my sunshine. So, so thankful to have them in my world.
