December One

Hey friends! I apologize for skipping out on you here lately! Its been, well, a long month of November. I will post more details later, but just know things are going to be ok.

On onto December..I am going to be participating in Ali Edwards December Daily challege. I did this last year and it is such a joy to see + remember what all we did last year. Details that I would have otherwise forgotten!

For this years album, I want to go simple + streamlined. No real fuss. No headache. Here is the coveer of my December Daily album. I love this album. I ended up using the American Crafts 6x6 album - without the page protectors, it will hold pages up to 6.5 x 7.5. Just right for a Decemeber Daily!

Details about my cover....

The star is handmade - I used some scraps left over from when I made curtains out of a painters drop cloth. I stitched them right up, and bam! A cute handmade embellishment was born! O the ribbon that is wrapped around the front cover, I tied on a Tim Holtz metal charm that says 'Christmas'.

I have chosed not to premake my pages this year. We will see how that goes! For now, though, I love the idea of creating something everyday for this book!

Thats it! Simple. Uncomplicated. These are things I am aiming for this December. Wish me luck!

* I am linking my December Daily cover to the Paper Issues Christmas Challenge! You should come take a look at the goodies over on their blog! You are sure to be inspired!

Before I leave, I wanted to share a photo of Roscoe. I just love him!
