Ever feel like your life is a real-life version of "Where's Waldo"? Yeah, thats been me for the last month. Let me give you the quick recap.....

...and then I got sick with double ear infections + a ruptured eardrum. Yeah, not so much fun.
Then, Alex and I headed here....

Once we got back to Amarillo, we found out Alex's Uncle Gary was in the end stages of this throat cancer - which had turned into Liver & Bone Cancer. So we spent 10 days sitting with him while he tried to stay comfortable. Lots and lots of hours were logged in room 4330 of this hospital.
Sadly, Uncle Gary's hard fought battle with cancer ended Friday afternoon, at 4:44. We've spent the weekend making arrangements and getting everything lined up for Gary to be buried in Santa Fe National Cemetery.

So, there you have it. That's where I have been. I am *trying* to get back on my scrapbook/project life/blog posting routine.
Just hang in here with me while I get my legs back underneath me.
Oh Melissa what a month of highs and lows. So sorry for your family's loss. Be kind to yourself. We will still be here when you are ready to come back. hugs!
