I am officially a crappy blogger. And honestly? I don't care.

Life is just happening, and happening really hard right now.

My life is changing right before my eyes.

We found out last week that my momma needs a new liver. A liver transplant.

I can barely type the words. My breathe gets taken away.

I have cried. Researched. Cried some more. Talked with my therapist. And now its time to pull myself together and get ready to make some hard decisions.

I believe God has a plan for each and every one of us. And I believe good can come from scary, hard situations.

And my family has proven that we can do hard things.

Please, please if you can, pray for my momma. Also? Pray for my daddy. They've been married 45 years and he is scared too.

  8. Dear Melissa, I am so sorry to hear this. Nothing is worse then when a family member is so sick. I hope you find yourself a peaceful place, for a reprieve when you need it. Hugs!

  11. I get what you mean when you say you're a "crappy blogger"! I feel that way a lot of the time too. But hearing you say it just made me realize how UNTRUE a thought it is. Our blogs are just that . . ours! They're a tool for us to use as we like and in the ways that serve us and our goals the best. They are a means, not an end. And when life happens, they sometimes take back seat. I've had lots of life happening . . good and bad. God will use our blogs as He wills, with or without our ideals of what a good blogger is! Today He used yours to clarify this for me. See! Thank you. I will pray for you and your mom and dad.
