Weekend Photos

Hydrangeas from my front flower bed. Did you know that Hydrangeas can be pink, blue, or white? It all depends on the type of Hydrangeas and how acidic your soil is (or isn't).

Do you see it? LOL I was watering my flower beds when I saw a glob of dirt move. I may or may not have shrieked. Alex and Ben came over, expecting to see a snake. They were a little disappointed to see a frog. Of course John wanted to keep it. Yeah, that wasn't happening.

How cool are these flowers? They are growing out the side of a tree in my front yard. Not sure what type of tree it is (hmmm. Maybe I should ask someone? ). Every Spring it blooms with the most beauitful pink flowers. I was worried over Easter weekend because we had a snow - I was concerned that the snow would ruin the blooms. Nope! The blooms are still around and if anything, the added water has helped them.

Lots going on today - can't wait to show you what I have been making in my studio.

Have a great day!

  3. I let my kids keep the frogs ... outside. Put it under the bush. If he likes it here he'll stay. lol. We actually had one stay within our backyard at our house in Indiana for like 2 years. BEST PET EVER. Love your flowers!! Love that they are already in bloom.
